What martial arts styles do you teach for adults?
We run classes across 6 days a week:
- MMA: A full contact, mixed martial arts class combining striking, grappling and conditioning for all fitness and skill levels. Learn practical techniques while improving strength, agility and confidence.
- Jiu-Jitsu (Gi & No Gi): Focus on ground fighting, submissions and leverage-based techniques. Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners, this class builds skill, strategy and self-discipline.
- Kickboxing: High energy striking class using punches, kicks and combinations to boost fitness, coordination and endurance. Great for stress relief and overall conditioning.
- Open Mat: An unstructured session where you can practice techniques, roll and spar at your own pace. Perfect for extra training, refining skills or just getting more mat time.
What is the difference between striking, grappling and combat skills?
- Striking involves techniques that use punches, kicks, elbows and knees to attack or defend at a distance.
- Grappling focuses on close contact maneuvers like clinching, throws, take-downs and submissions to control or submit an opponent.
- Combat skills combine striking and grappling techniques, along with situational awareness and strategy, to effectively defend yourself or compete in MMA.
Our classes teach all these areas to develop well-rounded martial artists.
Do you offer competition training?
Yes! Our head coach, Dale Higgins has numerous students who are currently training for competition. His expertise prepares students both physically and mentally for amateur competitions, including first time competitors. We provide tailored training to build skills and confidence for the ring.
